“Good Medicine!”
Brain Chapman, Director of LIME (Arts in Health)
‘Their performance was both stylish and accomplished. The effect of the music was immediately visible, setting toes tapping and fingers drumming. The gentleman sitting next to me, said "music was the best medicine" and he was happily humming along with pieces that he recognised. For my own part, the music lifted me out of the hospital environment.’
Holly Marland, Professional Development Manager at the RNCM

Thank you, once again"
Pam, Private Wedding Anniversary
It was a lovely concert, and everyone thought you were two lovely warm artists who connected very well with the audience. The music was gorgeous - I loved it.
Brenda, Melling Tithebarn Concert Series
Have been desperate to e-mail you since our wedding and you've beaten me to it. Thank you so so so so so much for the lovely music you played for us - you timed it brilliantly - it was perfect. The music really completed the atmosphere, it would not have been the same without it. My only possible regret is that we didn't ask you to play longer - during dinner too.
Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding day so magical.
Anna Banham, Bride
"It’s not often that you hear a concert where everything is just perfect – I wouldn’t have wanted to alter a note! Absolutely stunning."
John Findon, Bury Parish Church concert series, 2007
“Beautifully professional…I don’t know where you’d get a better balance and varied programme than that. What a pleasure to be here!”
John Findon, Bury Parish Church concert series, 2008
Just to say how much we all enjoyed the concert last evening. It was varied, exciting, covered a span of centuries, and provided a superb showcase for the talents of this trio of young people. The audience went home, as one person put it, feeling heartened that young people like the Sterling Trio provide such a welcome contrast to the stories we hear in the papers of others. Sterling by name, and Sterling in performance!
The contrasts between the pieces allowed each of the soloists to have their turn at being the "solo" performer, but the unusual combination of instruments was shown to particularly good effect in the Pavane and Galliard from the 17th Century, and the Carmen Fantasy arranged by Webster. Thank you again, and we hope to see you at the Tithebarn in the not too distant future. Best wishes from the Committee.
